The Young God

The first week of Nigeria's historic EndSars protests were a largely jubilant and optimistic affair. The second week, however, the Nigerian government has decided to bare its teeth, showing they don't play fair and that they are prepared to do what it takes to suppress the uprising. The stakes are higher now and I'm not so sure we the young people are ready to deal with the trials to come.
